Staff were super efficient, helpful and welcoming. Email communication was great with self check-in details. The garden was relaxing and always kept tidy. The Plaifon restaurant across the main road served delicious food with lovely people. Just a quick walk to the 7eleven supermarket. The bed in the modern bungalow was really comfortable. The location in the Muslim village felt laid back and safe. The beautiful Long Beach was just a few minutes away. The overall experience was welcoming, friendly and felt safe throughout our stay. There was even a small night market on Mondays. We also had access to a pool and restaurant in the neighboring hotel. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Koh Lanta.

The bike rental service at this 3-star hotel was incredibly convenient and allowed us to explore the island with ease. We had a blast riding around and discovering hidden gems during our family vacation.

My wife says that it would have been great if the hotel had a dedicated play area for children.

The location, although a little further down the beach, was not a problem as we didn't mind walking or renting a bike. I got great value for my money at El Matcha Lanta Resort. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect - just a minute away from a quiet beach where I could go snorkeling. The staff, especially Linda at the front desk, were incredibly kind and helpful during my stay.

The rooms at El Matcha Lanta Resort are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a desk, and a private bathroom. As a light sleeper, I loved the soundproof walls which ensured a peaceful night's sleep.

Personally, I found the tile/marble floor in the double room to be a bit too cold for my liking. But hey, that's just my preference and others might actually enjoy it!

This accommodation is ideally situated close to bars, restaurants, and at a very close distance to the beach, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the sunsets. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have modern amenities. The breakfast offers a great selection of choices to start the day on a positive note. Staff is courteous, helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable.

The staff, especially Linda, were so cool and made us feel right at home. The beds were like sleeping on fluffy clouds and the rooms were so clean and tidy. Plus, the best part was that we could easily rent bikes right from the hotel and explore the island together with our friends. It was epic!

We had a blast at El Matcha, but we wished there was a fun party atmosphere at the resort itself. It would have been even more lit if they had a cool bar or a DJ playing some sick beats.

Close to bars and restaurants, right by the beach, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. The room was clean and spacious with good storage, and the shower had good pressure.

The location was amazing, just a few steps away from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants and bars to enjoy happy hour drinks and gorgeous sunsets. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to keep the same room when we needed some extra nights, and even accommodating our early departure due to medical reasons. The breakfast had a fantastic variety, including vegetarian options, western food, and various meats that could be grilled and brought to you.

The communal areas lacked appeal and could be improved. , the cost was somewhat expensive for only basic services.
